About

The idea for this site was inspired by our garden flock, Easthenders. They were so named because we live in the East of England and one of our first hens, a light sussex, had enormous wattles which reminded us of Pat Butcher, from Eastenders. Yes, you guessed it, she became Pat! Unfortunately she is no longer with us, but you can see Maisie Maran and some of our other flock below.

Keeping hens led us to reading about all things chicken and we somehow began to acquire a collection of miniature hens of all descriptions from family and friends. I know many of you are also chicken crazy, whether you have your own flock or not, and thought you would enjoy this opportunity to buy used, new and vintage poultry keeping books, and other gifts, collectables and treasures - enjoy!

Enquiries and purchases from outside the UK are welcome. Please contact us by one of the methods below to check on postage costs and delivery arrangements. Payment from outside of the UK can only be accepted through Paypal.

Returns

All items are sold as pictured and described. Items will be described as accurately as possible, based upon the knowledge we have available of them. We hope you will be happy with your purchase, but if you would like to return an item, you may do so within 7 days and receive a full refund of the item cost (not P&P), providing it is returned in the same condition it was sent to you.
