Hooray!  Our flock is finally coming into lay again and production has increased from 1 - 3 eggs a day.   Some of our girls are pretty old now - Maisie (Maran) and Barny 2 (Barnavelder) are 6 years old this year.  Bluebell (Bluebel) is laying as well as, I think, our two Partridge Orpingtons.  Our Jubilee Orpington is still biding her time....    Its a real pleasure to taste those deep yellow yolks again, produced from feeding on grass (and carrot peelings!)
